Bush is running against self, not Kerry

I've said that over and over and over and over and over again. But it wasn't until about 60 seconds ago that I realized that it's true for Kerry, as well:

The difference is that Bush either makes the people happy, or he makes them mad. Kerry just makes us laugh.

Among other things, Kerry's ambivalence hasn't sent over 1,000 soldiers to their needless deaths. Bush's flip-flopping (remember "No nation-building!" from the debates with Gore) contributed to a lack of realistic planning for the war/liberation. The violent results grow more apparent daily.
