Hi Jeff, That snail is quite beautiful. How did you happen to come upon it. Also, did you notice there's a caterpillar or something crawling on it's back, and then in another picture, it's crawling away?

Hey, that does look like a caterpillar!

Hmm...nope...I just checked the original pics (which are much larger and much higher resolution). It's a bit of a blade of grass. I must've just finished mowing the lawn, or something.
