Jack Murtha's Arguments

I love this, this is amazing: Someone actually credits John Murtha with sound argumentation here and posts a link to it from his weblog thinking that Murtha has actually scored points.

The "I served in the military, you didn't" argument is completely without merit. It's a non-sequitur, as it has no impact one way or another on ideas that are presented. That's why it's so frequently used: because you can't argue with stupidity. Ever. Representative Gohmert makes valid points, then Jack Murtha stands up and asks completely irrelevant questions. This is the depth of the reasoning of so many on the left.

It's only a non-sequitur to you Jeff, those of us who have served in the Marine Corps understand that point. Your non-understanding of that identifies you as just another yellow-bellied chickenhawk. The logical point made is, I've seen death and destruction, you haven't." And if it's completely without merit, then why is it one that the fucktards on the right keep trotting out with disturbing regularity, but only if you're a Republican? No one has a monopoly on patriotism, especially not your side.
Gohmert is a little chickenshit turd, one who steals signs from other Congressman's offices when they're not around.
