Kodak Digital Science DC120 Zoom Digital Camera

Own a piece of history!

When digital cameras first started coming out, my dad, in his excitement, ran right out and bought two of these: one for him and one for me. And after all of these years, I still have it. In another couple of weeks, I expect that I no longer will.

That's my cockatiel "Whiskles" posing in the image on its screen. I took the photo to make sure that everything still works and that I could transfer the photos to my computer using the serial cable. It works great.

I have just listed the DC120 for sale on eBay. It includes the original box it came in, the camera, an extra memory card, and a PC serial cable:

The software disks are not included, but it appears to still be available for free download through Kodak's website, as is the owner's manual.

Late addition!!!

I just found something useful for this camera. When I got the camera, I wanted to plug the memory card directly into my computer rather than using the serial cable. But back then computers with slots for the memory card were rare. However, my laptop did have a PCMCIA slot and somewhere I found this adaptor for the memory card to make it work in a PCMCIA slot. Now that I've run across this, I am including it with the camera:

It's ony $4.98 to open the bidding! If you're interested, have at it! The bidding is over on Jan-08-09 at 04:11:08 PST .

I recently found (Yes! found!) one of these cameras. I put in some batteries and viola'!
It seemed to work! (I already had a CF card.)
What I would like to find is the software
to use with an XP computer system.
